Formed in 1977 the West Yorkshire group have enjoyed over 30 years of long
distance walking, and are responsible for the running of four Hundreds in
1985, 1996, 2003 and 2008.
Our original challenge walk, the Ulfkil Stride, has been replaced by the
John O'Gaunt, which will take place on Saturday 25th September 2010.
All our walks have an emphasis on being sociable and take place once a month
(see Strider/website for details).
Generally mileage is approx 20m, especially during the shorter days, however,
during summer we do try to go that bit further with the odd 40mile/30 mile
walk. Do come along and see what you think, nothing ventured nothing gained.
