Yorkshire Three Peaks. Thursday 31 December 2009. Distance 24 miles.
25 walkers. Leader - Andy Ward.
If memory serves there were twenty five turned up of which nine dropped
out!
We missed out Pen Y Ghent as it resembled a giant iceberg. The snow was
three foot deep and
drifts up to six feet deep. Whernside was OK going up but most of us slid
down on our bums !!!
Ingleborough was just awesome and a white out encountered coming off (scary).
Roll on next attempt.
