Grassington. 9 February 2008. Distance 21 miles. 33 walkers. Leader - Ralph Warman.

A record number of people turned out for this walk from Grassington. A total of thirty three people took part
and were treated to brilliant sunshine throughout the day, wonderful views and good company.

What started of as a fairly good day rapidly deteriorated and conditions in the afternoon were pretty dire.
Nevertheless all had a good days walking around some beautiful countryside. The group were treated to brilliant sunshine throughout the day, wonderful views and good company.

Joined forces with the Nidderdale Group to walk an old Challenge Event - A Sting In The Tail.


Barden Bridge. 2 August 2008. Distance 22 miles. 24 walkers. Leader - Tony Fitzgerald.

The group, including a couple of new faces, walked round a scenic route, including Simon's Seat.


Peak District. 20 September 2008. Distance 28 miles. 12 walkers. Leader - John Sparshatt.

The third and final White Feathers Walk.


Ingleton. 11 October 2008. Distance 20 miles. 13 walkers. Leaders - Sue & Colin Lugton.

A two summits walk over Whernside and Ingleborough with over 1200 metres of height gain,
before dashing back to Ingleton to celebrate Tom's 50th birthday!


Thruscross. 1 November 2008. Distance 20 miles. 23 walkers. Leader - Ian Dyer.

Over the hills and far away, with stops at Trollers Gill and Rocking Moor Hall.
